Mental illness: is it caused partly by a lack of helminths?

With almost 40% of Europeans now suffering from mental illness it’s interesting to speculate to what extent this might be related to the loss of helminths during the last century, especially in view of the experience of some of the members of the Yahoo Helminthic Therapy Forum, whose mental health issues have decreased following the introduction of a small number of helminths:
