Katie,
I guess my next post clarified the problem. But if, in my hysteria, I was not clear, I’ll say that the cumulative damage from 5 years of very active Crohn’s: fissures, fistulae, abscesses, & every thing my rectum could manage to throw at me, my innards are made almost entirely of inflexible scar tissue. I remember the last time I had a scope, they had to use the baby scope on me because nothing else would fit past the stricture. Well, nothing fits coming out either.

Please everybody, if your considering worm therapy, do it sooner rather than later. If it doesn’t work for you all you’ve lost is money, but if it does work, what you are loosing is your body.

yes, pain will make you do things you would’t dream of under normal circumstances. You have the right to be crazy and say whatever the hell you want…you’re still here fighting like a warrior/wild-woman…whatever it takes!

So glad to hear you’re doing so well! The FDA really needs to take a look at this – they’ll be enlightened and perhaps challenged to reflect on roles and responsibilities. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for blogging this. It’s people like you who will keep this therapy going, and someday there may be a critical mass (combined with more sci research) that can reverse the FDA’s decision.
